Thanks  Gary, could you provide me with a description of the LPI solder 
mask, I am not familiar with this.

Darrell:

Our in house assembly shop asks that we leave the fiducials covered with
solder mask.  They claim this reduces reflections and their equipment can
find the fiducials much easier.  We use LPI solder mask.
