     Good Morning Technet!
     
     Bill - the brazing alloy 72Ag/28Cu has an industry standard callout 
     per AWS A5.8: BAg8. I started digging through my references and then 
     stopped - you are asking for the physical properties of the braze 
     alloy itself and those don't typically show up in the standard 
     reference. I checked the ASM Handbooks and the AWS Handbook series but 
     neither contained the physical property data you are looking for. I 
     suggest you call:

     This phone number is old so you may have to make a couple of calls to 
     get to H&H. They are an industry leader in supplying brazing materials

Does anyone have CTE, thermal conductivity, and strength data for 
72Ag/28Cu brazing alloy?  I'm performing a thermal/stress analysis of a 
system that is cooling from solidification of the brazing alloy (800C) 
to room temp. and is then modified and cooled to -55C.  I'm sure the 
properties are temperature dependent, but room temperature data would 
get me in the ballpark.  Any help would be appreciated.
