The connector manufacturer should have supplied a suggested pad layout
pattern with the connector. If not and you know the part number, the company
website or catalog should have the info.

Subject: [TN] High frequency connector / SMT / Through hole
Hello all
We have a new (at least new for me) connector type to assemble and rework.
It is a high frequency connector where the high frequency pins were SMT pins
and the shielding is through hole.
Any process recommendations for assembly and repair?
SMT / Pin in Paste ....
Best regards
Siggi
