     Karren,

IPC has produced a supplement to 782, IPC-EM-782, that allows for the
calculation of land areas within their guidelines. If you could either
reply with the mechanical dimensions or call me, I will be glad to give
     assistance.

** Reply Requested When Convenient **

HELLO FRIENDS AT IPC:
I NEED A RECOMMENDED FOOTPRINT LAND PATTERN FOR A
DEVICE PQFP208. I ALREADY HAVE MECHANICAL DIMENSIONS FOR
THE ALTERA PART ITSELF FROM THEIR DATA BOOK. BUT THEY
DON'T GIVE THE RECOMMENDED FOOTPRINT LAND PATTERN.
I LOOKED IN YOUR IPC-SM-782 & 782A MANUALS (DATED MAY
1995) BUT DIDN'T FIND IT THERE EITHER.
COULD YOU PLEASE SEND ME EITHER A FAX OF YOUR
RECOMMENDED FOOTPRINT LAND PATTERN OR THE NUMBERS FOR
THE RECOMMENDED PIN PAD PITCH; PAD ROW PITCH; PIN PAD WIDTH
AND LENGTH; AND THE COURTYARD GRID NUMBERS???
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE.
