Were you able to determine where the rest of the residue comes from?

We recently started using a noclean flux core wire solder (Kester 245)
and notice a residue that resembles a clear epoxy after soldering. The
residue was analyzed and contained the following compounds on the
surface of the test piece: Dimethylamine, Silane ethoxy trimethyl,
Silanol trimethyl and Long Chain Aliphatic Hydrocarbons.

Kester stated that the long chain hydrocarbons are probably from the
flux. Any thoughts on where the rest of the residue comes from?
