WoW!  What a great picture of weave exposure.  Would suggest that you submit
this to the 600 and 610 groups for inclusion in those documents.

I was going to suggest that you can run a water soluble pen over suspected
areas and if the glass is exposed the weave will wick up the ink and when you
wipe it off with a tissue the result will be little colored spots.  If it is
merely texture there will be no spots.

Did you notice this conditon prior to assembly?
