Hi Franco!
IBM of Yasu,Japan has developed a process for using their photosensitive solder
mask as a dielectric and photodeveloping the vias. This is called Surface Laminar
Circuits,or SLC.
However,SBU does not mean a specific process.
SBU is an abbreviation of Sequential Build Up which contains many process from
drilled micro via ,laser via,plasma via and of course potovia.
SLC is one of SBU.
