Steve replied already but you didn't say if you wanted water soluble or solvent soluble. For water soluble I actually used peppermint lifesavers one time. Had run out of the standoffs. The location of the part precluded using a removable standoff. I bet I get some responses to this one.

I seem to remember that there at standoffs to set the height of a component off the PWB in assembly; but not who makes the ones that can be dissolved so they do not remain with the assembly. Anybody know who makes them?
