There is an elephant in the room and it isn't "green".
However a cynical and cautionary adage that was often voiced by a colleague
of many years ago also comes to mind. As he often said "Be careful about
rocking the trough while the pigs are feeding"
The political hysteria will end when the common folk realize they have been
lied to and taken advantage of for the benefit of a few. Not all are guilty,
but the current global morass of cronyism, corruption and deception in politics
and corporate governance is replete with examples of such. One need not dig
deep to find them.
To paraphrase a line from a Franklin D. Roosevelt speech from the late
1930s... "Old truths have (to be) relearned; untruths have (to be) unlearned..."
"The truth is out there..."
-Fox Mulder-
Best to all,
Joe
