I can see the "Huge" mistake of not going to APEX... But I wouldn't be
invited anyhow..(no loss...)..still got green eye monster on my back...

Since I'm local, I'll most  likely go at least one day. Maybe we could
go out on my boat which, unlike Cary's, has a fully operational engine,
compass, chartplotter GPS and paper charts are on board!
