To Whom It May Concern:
I am a graduate student doing research into solder dispensing
systems. I would like to design and build a system that does the
dispensing and pick and place at one station, with one robot. I am
trying to find companies that specialize in dispensing technology in
order to buy a valve and its controller capable of dispensing a dot
10-12 mils.
I have contacted several of the larger companies, (Asymtek, Camelot),
but they will only sell the entire dispensing machine, with a minimum
price of $40,000, on the low end. I don't need the gantry, stepper
motors and everything else that they come with, just the valve and the
controller to interface with my robot.
I was given this email address, from an individual at a solder
manufacturing facility, as a great place to begin. If you have any
information or know of any companies that specialize in these valves I
would appreciate any information that is available.
Sincerely,
Miguel Apezteguia
