- You might check the acceptance criteria of Revision C of IPC-A-610 as the
coverage in A-610 is more comprehensive than the J-STD-001.  In creating Rev.
C of A-610 we spent quite a bit of effort and developed some pretty good
illustrations of solder connections using magnet wire.  Connections for
through-hole termination, termination to terminals and terminations to
component leads (as in Jumper Wires/Hay Wires) are now included in A-610C.
