Hi Rich!
This connector does have compliant pins, but AMP (Tyco) calls them "Action
Pins".
Here's the datasheet:
http://catalog.tycoelectronics.com/TE/docs/pdf/7/49/222947.pdf
The holes in the board are what the datasheet calls out for that connector, I
just got through checking the gerber. Everything is set-up perfectly to press
it, and forget it!
(where have I heard that before? Ron Popeil?...oh no, it's set-it, and
fah-get it!)
But we're still gonna press and solder the darn thing in because that's what
the customer wants, and we ARE all about customer satisfaction.
