I do not hesitate to recommend Alessandro Birolini's 'Reliability 
Engineering'. Although it is not specific to PCBs, mention is made and 
it is the 'bible' of reliability. Birolini was Professor of Reliability 
Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETHZ). 
If my memory is correct, Guenther Grossmann, who frequents this forum, 
used to be his assistant.
