Subject: FAB: Independent Lab for Board Residue Analysis

Problem: Our customer is performing elevated temperature 
and humidity testing way above Bellcore limits.  They 
are driving right up to 70C/95rh for more than a week. 
Besides my protest to this, they are noticing white 
spots on one end of the board.  This condition does 
not and has not appeared any other time.
     
The customer is requiring us to have our board 
house analyze possible residue on our stuffed and 
populated pcb.  My company is in CT.  We make telco 
equipment.  We are not a board fab/assy house. 
We agreed to Class 2 but they are going above and 
beyond Class 3. 
     
Any good labs in the immediate CT area that does pcb chem 
residue analysis?
