Hi Dave,

I would recommend Specctraquest over Hyperlynx due the significantly greater
capabilities and integration with existing tools. If you are already using
Cadence Allegro in your design process, SQ is 100% database compatible with
Allegro. For more information you can contact Dennis Nagle. He is the
Technical Marketing Manager for SpectraQuest. His email is

  Subject: [DC] SI Analysis Tools

We are considering purchasing SI Analysis tools to perform pre and post
route analysis of our PCB designs.

Tools which we are currently considering are Hyperlynx and Cadence
SpecctraQuest. I am somewhat familiar with Hyperlynx, but have not
had much exposure to SpecctraQuest. Seems there is a significant cost
differential between these tools - is this warranted by additional
functionality?

Any opinions on the capabilities of either the above tools, or
recommendation on other SI tools greatly appreciated.

  Thanks,
