We are considering purchasing SI Analysis tools to perform
pre and post route analysis of our PCB designs.
Tools which we are currently considering are Hyperlynx and
Cadence SpecctraQuest. I am somewhat familiar with Hyperlynx, but have
not
had much exposure to SpecctraQuest. Seems there is a
significant cost differential between these tools - is this warranted by
additional functionality?
Any opinions on the capabilities of either the above
tools, or recommendation on other SI tools greatly appreciated.
