Can I suggest that we resist sending *.DOC files as attachments. I am prompted
to send this suggestion on seeing one being transferred today. [I have no idea
what was in it as it goes straight to a directory called Dump which is what I
do.]  Some of the supposed virus attacks on the NATO WEB sites [which  were
closed down subsequently for disinfection]  originally got in as DOC
attachments. The recent Technet exchanges on virus problems also act to
highlight sensitivity on this.
