I'm sure you know this, but checking flux specific gravity (in accordance with supplier requirements
at a specified temperature) with a calibrated hygrometer is best. Worst, is using so called
automatic systems that are part of some wave solder machines. Also, don't keep replenishing or
"thinning" flux. It's cheap, compared to defective solder joints, so dump and replace regularly
(when sg starts falling off say at the end of a shift or production run). Hope I didn't over-
simplify, but it's all I know.
