There is not a specific measurement called out in the J-STD-001B. I have a copy of a comparison report between IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 that explains what is covered in one that is not covered in the other. If anyone would like a copy, just let me know.

I am trying to find the lead protrusion requirements in J-STD-001. Either
I'm missing it or it "ain't" there. IPC-A-610 says visible to 1.5mm but
can't find it in 001.
