We have trouble reading DXF files and interfacing with other CAD systems.
Often times we must request that the data be striped down to be pure
graphics by exploding the objects to be simple lines and arcs.  You may
want to ask for hpgl or Adobe acrobat files ".pdf" instead.  The Adobe
acrobat format is becoming the industry standard for sharing material with
others for printing and viewing.  A free viewer is available from Adobe at
http://www.adobe.com/

DC Members:

I am looking for an inexpensive DXF viewer / printer.  Some of my customer
would like to e-mail me DXF drawings, but I do not have the capability to
view and print them.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in
