Dennis,

I have come across this problemin the past. Theproblem is in the Gerber output
file, no theread-in software of the cam stations. The file you have is one
continuous file with no breaks or identification for each layer. Since I did
not have the original data file, we had to manually edit the Gerber data and
split it into the different lyers. A very time consuming ordeal. Luckily we
were familiar with the format.

I believe that there was a switch in the gerber output generator that was not
turned on or off, causing all the layers to run together.

It appears that your CAD vendor may be giving you the runaround. I would
approach him again and have him look at the output files.
