Inform your customer that a contract for soldering to MIL-STD 2000 is
uninforceable.
The closing of the Goverment Schools rendered MIL-STD 2000 Task G impossible
to achieve. There is no Category certification available to meet the
requirements of the specification. Are they calling out MIL-STD 2000A whose
requirements can be met? They are actually very different documents and
have different lead tinning requirements.
Single point soldering is soldering one termination at a time.
I will fax you Mil-STD 2000 Par. 4.11.3 , par. 5.4.4, and par 5.4.17.6
