Gold plating is an extremely demanding process on dry film photoresists;
especially in high dep applications.
There are ways to optimize the process. Give me some details, and perhaps I
can help.
How much Ni/Au are you depositing?
What is the thickness of the dry film?
What are the basic parameters of your gold tank (oz/gal, temp, pH, agitation)?
The type of dry film used can have a big impact on the success/failure of gold
plating process. We sell a couple of products that have excellent resistance
to gold plating. Contact me offline if you would like more information.
