I've had some mail problems lately so I missed the original post for
this, so I'm sory if I miss the point.  I used to on occasion convert a
PCAD drawing to DXF.  The only way I could get the text converted
correctly (as vectors) was to do a DXFOUT - read in the DXF file and
DXFOUT again.  Going through the DXFOUT twice converted all of the blocks
and text to vectors.  It's worth a try!
