The one way we have been able to bring Autocad into Gerber
files is to bring it into CAM350 using the DXFIN.  I believe it
changes the text to lines but don't know how it does it.  We get
the .dxf file and never have seen the original fonts, so can't say
whether it looks like the original or not.
