Dear Sirs,
I am a newly graduated electronics engineer (1996) ,and I have been
working in a PCB factory for more than 1 year as a "design engineer"
,this factory is for mass production single sided PCBs mainly used in
consumer electronics like TVs and Videos. I decided to become a PCB
designer but i don't know where to start.
Can You just help me with any sources of information ,e.g. any books
,seminars or tutorials that teaches how to start the design and the main
considerations that should be taken to place the components and the
track spacing and widths and that teaches also the EMC analysis and so
on.
As I told before our major interest is in consumer electronics, i.e.
single sided PCBs and the material we currently use is FR1 or FR2.
The current CAM system is the UCAM from Barco and AlphaCAM from EIT
Germany, and the current CAD system is PCAD 8.5 and we are now
negotiating to buy another CAD system ,maybe "PADS" or "Ultimate" from
Netherlands we didn't decide yet.
