JoAnn,
All of the board shops I use, have 8mil/8mil as their minimum standard
line width/spacing. Below this I would possibly pay additional charges.
Even the shop I use with the least capabilities can handle 8/8 technology.
On double sided and 4-lyr I try to start with 10/10 technology. We are
not OEM. All the designs are small runs for custom machines. For various
reasons, changes (oops Enhancements) maybe required on the boards. So I
like to help the engineers and techs with giving them some sizing to work
with.
