Ruben--It is important to understand that No-Clean means just that--NO CLEANING. The
residue from a no-clean process that is properly implemented will be inert and NOT
cause any degradation when left on the PCB. It is very common to see the white
residue as a result of trying to remove no-clean residue with alcohol. If you WANT
to clean, you should be using a cleanable low-residue (non-rosin) flux. Talk with
your flux supplier. Jack

Hi everybody I am having a problem, and it is that we used to use Water
soluble paste in the past and for that we used Alcohol to clean reworked
boards. Now we are in No-Clean and if we use alcohol there are some white
residues that sometimes bothers me a lot. Could somebody tell me more about
this white residues, how can I clean them, what can I use, are they
acceptable. This is urgent to me I will appreciate all your help.

Gracias,
