Kevin,

Our assembly subcontractors routinely pick and place a QFP 308 for us.  The
top of the package is an aluminum "heat spreader", and weighs in at just
over 18 grams total.  As far as moving around after placement, we've heard
no complaints.  However, if your pcb is HASL or tin-lead reflow, I wouldn't
be surprised.   We currently use OSP's to maintain surface coplanarity.
