Hey, Tom, some additional info since we're still seeing new notes about
this on the TechNet. You've fixed the problem and of course, everyone
appreciates it.

You just need to remember that some folks mail systems work
differently--they only check their mail periodically, read old mail first
and send off responses before they get further down in the que and discover
you found the mistake and fixed it. Then, hopefully, they feel badly about
flaming something that has been fixed.

Another thing that happens is that some mail systems only "send"
peridically, and their response might have been posted but not sent before
you got the situation turned around.  As a result, their "nasty" reply gets
out to all 1100 plus subscribers after the situation has been fixed.

It has happened to more than one of us in the past and certainly will again
in the future. Just think of all the messages you now have in the Automata
TechNet Archives with your name on them!

Technology is wonderful and allows us to share our problems with lots of
folks at one time.  Jack
