Mike:
We're using Intergraph Veribest here. We generate a BOM right from the
schematic and then place it right on our assy drawing.

Subject: BOM's

I am interested to hear what everyone is doing to automate BOM's (Bills of
Materials).

We use Windows tools and BOM's are (and have always been) a real pain.

Is there anything to tie into our MRP system? Ideally I'd like to tie all
of
our component libraries together with the MRP information with some kind of
browser or something...point and click under Windows... am I dreaming?!

Any ideas? I would also be interested to hear what other companies are
doing
to automate this process.

Thanks.

Mick Donaldson
