>From one layman to another; the major difference between the two 
materials is the glass transition temperature.  FR-4 Tg is 120-135 
degrees C. while FR-5 Tg is 150-180 degrees C.  It is a bit harder to 
machine than FR-4 as well.  Hope this helps.
