The Element Quiz winner gets the services of our outstanding/amazing gnomes Clumpy and Kloumpios for the week (they have had their vaccination shots and can follow any covid-19 protocols the winner decides).

The Question:

A metal alloy using this element was known in China over 2000 years ago. Another alloy using this element is 6X stronger than stainless steel and is 2X stronger at 800C than 25C. German miners called an ore containing this element "Old Nick's copper". A compact disc fabricated from this element will preserve 1.5 million pages of data for 1000 years. What element is being described?

The winner of the Quiz will get the assistance of the boys for the week. Please let us know what tasks you have for the boys to keep them busy.
