Hello TechNet - so yes, my evil twin brother Doug is correct. After 40 years in the industry, I am retiring on April 22. I won't be sending out any additional quizzes and will work with Doug on some kind of transition plan. 

I would like to thank everyone on two very important topics:

1) Technical assistance - I cannot count the number of times TechNet has assisted me in resolving a technical problem by having the collective TechNet brain power available. The TechNet community is truly amazing, generous with their time and knowledge. Thank you for helping me resolve some crazy problems.

2) The Element Quiz - I never could have imagined how the TechNet collective insanity produced our two gnomes, Clumpy and Kloumpios, that have grown far from their original purpose of reducing everyone's work week stress to having their own Instagram accounts and being IPC awards. I have been privileged to get to visit many festivals and famous places all around the world, get to celebrate birthdays, weddings, family celebrations, and take comfort on similar technical issues I have faced as the winners of the Element Quizzes detailed how Clumpy and Kloumpios assisted them in all of those activities.  There are so many folks in TechNet land that I have never met but count as my friends through the crazy fun that the Clumpy and Kloumpios evolved into. 

As many of you know, I am a whitewater kayaker/instructor so the immediate plan is to paddle my brains out for the next several years and finally learn Spanish as a second language (Yo quiero apendar espanol). Doug knows how to get ahold of me when I am not underwater so if you have a question you think I can assist with, have Doug send it to me and I'll try to help.
