Hi,

I kind of recall Clumpy was traveling on a job where he met up with his 1/2 brother Kloumpios.

For some reason I recall they found each other in Cyprus or Crete? Just a vague memory.

Subject: [TN] Clumpy and Kloumpios awards

Folks, for those who aren't attending IPC's Summercom, today was the first ever presentation of the Clumpy and Kloumpios awards. Several deserving volunteers from Technet and IPC Standards received the Clumpy or the Kloumpious awards. Although the actual statuettes were not available for presentation due to a logistics issue (several awardees were not in attendance either due to travel restrictions etc.), the ceremony itself was fun. Doug and Dave each received an award for their leadership in Technet (someone can remind me what their category was named) and, just like the Oscars, the origin of Clumpy and Kloumpios remains disputed. Personally, I associate the origin of Clumpy and Kloumpios to the appearance of the Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 (aka The Terminator) somewhere in beautiful Cedar Rapids, IA. The rest is history...
