Greetings!

I am working on a design that is requiring not only a RoHS compliant design,
but also REACH & Conflict Minerals information for the design.

For most of the parts, I was able to obtain statements from the manufacturer's
web sites to cover REACH, and many of the manufacturers are now looking into
the DRC Conflict Minerals issue.

My supervisor then asked me about the actual printed circuit board, and wants
me to determine its' compliancy (for REACH & DRC Conflict Minerals). So, I am
wondering, Do PCB fabricators provide this information like they do for RoHS?
Is this something that will be required of them?

My supervisor thinks it is as simple as 'just add a note to the drawings'. I
am thinking that it isn't that simple.

Has anyone else gone down this path?

I am aware of IPC-1751 & IPC-1752. (I'm just not sure how to effectively use it.)

Any help or words of wisdom will be appreciated.

Thanks,
