It's just a web based collection of 'stuff' I have posted over the years to share... I don't make any money with it in fact it costs me about 90 bucks a year to keep it going... but it's a place to share 'tribal' knowledge and assist newbies with getting started. I have not updated it in quite awhile, but it's still useful. I've just been busy doing other things lately.
PCB Design magazine is a good resource for info that is relatively 'up to date' and I agree that the Designers Council is a great way to stay connected.
Our own local chapter put on a presentation on 'All About Vias' by Donald A. Carron, C.I.D. of Advanced Circuits in Tempe, Arizona just recently and we expect to have our next meeting in October at Hallmark Circuits in Poway, Ca. for a designer's tour of their facility. Though this DC forum has been moderately 'quiet' for some time there are many skilled 'lurkers' out there that will happily answer questions or assist you if need be. :)

In addition to the ones that Tom mentioned, I like reading the periodicals from the Iconnect007 group. "The PCB Magazine" covers design and fabrication topics, and "SMT magazine" is great for assembly topics.
Their publications are rich in both content and commentary.
