R-T-R processing is fast becoming one of the leading electronics
processes. PEN, Polyester, and Polyimide flex circuitry, even some
rigid-flex circuitry is being processed in a roll that runs continuously
through the production line. It requires special techniques and
knowledge, but provides tremendous cost-cutting advantages from a
process standpoint. Nearly all RFID and embedded chip-in-flex processes
utilize RTR processing.
