Here is a chart showing DuPont's listing of Ag based conductors. I am making no advertisement for DuPont in particular - it just happened to be convenient. Heraeus and others also make thick film inks.

You will see on the chart that fritted and mixed bonded systems are available. A mixed bonded system is a combo of fritted [glass] and chemical [much less glass]. There are pros and cons to each. Generically, they are all fired at 850-925°C with the fully chemically bonded systems sometimes 'liking' the higher temps.

Again, this stuff has been around for ages and I doubt you will have any problems. See what other responses you get.

Subject: [TN] AgPdPt-glass frit?

Technetters,

Anyone heard of a silver-palladium-platinum-glass frit finish on a
component?
(See http://www.coilcraft.com/1008ls.cfm )

Do the same issues with Ag and AgPd finishes apply?
Should I be concerned about using this in a SnPb process?

Ben
