Hey all,

There is a big hubub about how our Static Ionic test machine (600SMD)
should be configured. Meaning what industry standard and its interpretation
dictates if the machine should be setup in auto-terminate mode or set a timed
mode. Is a heating solution better for enabling improved measurement of OA
species or rosin species. We use our machine to measure product coming off
of two cleaning processes - one hot DI water and other semi-aqueous using
soap hot DI water. I interpret the standard as saying that the test should
continue until there is no more change in conductivity - thus meaning that it
should be in auto-terminate mode letting the machine do the math and shut
down when no change is measured.

Any thoughts... Thanks in advance.

Chris
