Rich: We have used Loncoterge MACH 73 for many years. With that said
Loncoterge was a product of the London Chemical Company(LONCO) which was
bought out years ago by Cookson Electronics as part of there Alpha
Metals group.
They may still carry it in a re-branded form.
Basically it is a 50% aqueous solution of Glycolic Acid . We take it as
received and dilute that by 15:1, water to Loncoterge. Close outgoing
drain valves. Fill all tanks, prewash/wash/rinse1/rinse2/rinse3/etc with
water and Loncoterge, heat to 130F. Circulate one hour. Open valves and
drain. Rinse entire system with fresh DI water twice at 140F for 15 mins
each. If using saponifier charge at half strength, circulate at standard
operating temperature for 15 mins, drain and recharge system for
operation.
It's also good practice to replace any core/tube/bag filters. Check
nozzle output for clogging, spray pattern and angle.

Subject: [TN] Descaling of Water Wash Systems
To ~continue along this forum's recent cleaning track...
What are you using for de-scaling water wash systems?
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
