Hope you don't mean tantalum caps! These can not be stacked without some
consideration. If you mean ceramic chip caps or semiconductor chip caps,
they can be well stacked, but it depends on what circuitry you have. If you
have to do with high speed signals or microwave, you can not be sure that
stacking three 100 pF will be equal to 300 pF! The dissipation factor won't
be the same either, if there is heat created within the cap, cooling may be
a problem...and more things to think over. You ought to check what function
the caps have, before accepting your customer's will.
