Try contactless high speed inkjet printers. You may get one from Domino or
imaje.

I am assuming your customer wants a serno marking system that will not
fail to be legible and is not easily alterable. Perhaps a laser etch
marking system will provide him with an indelible method of
serialization that will also provide you with an automatic system less
susceptible to operator error.

Subject: [TN] Epoxy ink serialization
Hi TechNet
I've got a very low tech question today.
We've got a customer who insists on serial numbers marked with epoxy
ink. They will not consider alternatives. We currently use a rubber
stamp with changeable numbers (rotating belt, like a date stamp) to
stamp the serial number. The issues with it are that it's a slow
process and that the repeatability is not great - it's very operator
dependent.
Are there any easier / faster / better methods that don't involve
spending a lot of $$?
Thanks!
