Try contactless high speed inkjet printers. You may get one from Domino or imaje. Badri -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]]On Behalf Of Stadem, Richard D. Perhaps a laser etch marking system will provide him with an indelible method of serialization that will also provide you with an automatic system less susceptible to operator error. -----Original Message----- From: TechNet [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Graham Collins Sent: Tuesday, September 12, 2006 8:57 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [TN] Epoxy ink serialization Hi TechNet I've got a very low tech question today. We've got a customer who insists on serial numbers marked with epoxy ink. They will not consider alternatives. We currently use a rubber stamp with changeable numbers (rotating belt, like a date stamp) to stamp the serial number. The issues with it are that it's a slow process and that the repeatability is not great - it's very operator dependent. Are there any easier / faster / better methods that don't involve spending a lot of $$?
