Hey "New Guy",
IAg has some great properties. but also some scary side effects.
1st question has to be what is the tarnish?
If Silver Oxide-good, if Silver Sulfide-BAD.
Have you had it tested?
Silver Oxide is actually more conductive then silver.
2nd question is how thick is your IAg layer, cause if the tarnish is red  the
Cuprous Oxide-bad.
3rd question is what environment?
I'll bet you can guess why.
