Any well tuned engine, gas or diesel (except tiny model airplane
engines) is music.  I have some old LPs of Le Mans and Sebring dating
back to the 1960s.

I did get a chance to go in a diesel locomotive where each piston is the
size of a trash can.  The engine turns a whopping 200 rpm.

Is there anyone at TN who can send BIG diesel sound tracks, about 20-60
seconds long. Tried to find 5-locomotive cartrain roaring from Detroit,
but
can't find any (except for those who sail CDs )

Crazy? Mebbe..but happy hearing the roaring from a hard working diesel
engine (BIG!).
