Hi, Badri
You did not specify what type of component or what the lead-free finish
is.
You can usually solder lead-free parts using 63/37 leaded solder without
any problems, if the lead-free finish is matte tin or gold over nickel
or some of the other common finishes. This is true for components with
external leads only, not for BGAs, CSPs, or flipchips with lead-free
balls.
