Hi David, IPC LF Listservers,

This report you gave us kind of surprises me.

Back in 2005 we received via a LF member a letter by the Director of
Engineering for Wright Patterson Airforce Base. You can find it sometime
after May 9, 2005 which is the date on the letter.

In this letter Dennis J. Cassette listed all our usual suspects (the known
experts and reports like CarolH over at NIST, and the IEEE-CPMT Society).

The advisement was to keep Pb-free or LF out of the AirForce (USAF) and I
had hoped NASA.

Yours in Engineering, Dave
YiEngr, MA/NY DDave

P.S. I thought he and the USAF was late doing this yet they did write this
Advisory in 2005.
