        Also make sure your wash process can clean it off adequately, it
takes hot water and high pressure for most water soluble masks. Otherwise
you end up with partially dissolved gunk in your masked holes, not friendly
for soldering....

It means a water soluble temporary solder mask. These products, as the name
implies, are washed-off after "use". But be careful to ensure that your
washing process will tolerate this stuff in your drain or filter circuit.
